I headed to the west of England to do a set at Wales’ most renown weekly Drum & Bass night, ‘Aperture’. The last time I played there was 6 years ago! Having returned for a second helping of Cardiff vibes years later, it’s more than fair to say that the Aperture Crew are still one of the best audiences I’ve ever come across. Open minded, attentive and ready to go mental, they’re every DJ’s dream.
Post filming their own take on the Harlem Shake (fronted by yours truly), I captured some footage of my own. Here’s 30 minutes of my set on the night. Good times for real.
Big thanks to Phil Williams for letting me use one of his photos as a cover for my video. You can see the rest of his shots here on facebook.
Fantastic mixed line up of DJ’s that could only have been put together by our dearest Divyesh (driver for many an important artist) who managed to raise £690 for his charities.
I heard some seriously good beats this night. Unfortunately I left my usual camera at home but managed to catch a few on my mobile. Apologies for the quality

What you can see below is ‘The Bailey Bobble’ custom made by my fair hands and created for none other than Mr Bailey.
Bailey required an over-sized bobble for his beanie to beat all bobbles! I stepped in to fill the demand as he saw a lack in the supply of beanie hats with larger than large bobbles.
The first edition Bailey Bobble was made using cream yarn and once completed sewn into a grey hand knitted beanie hat (another one of my over sized creations)
The Bailey Bobble has a diameter of 6.5 inches that’s 16.5 center meters. Pretty darn BIG!
Prices range from £10-£15 +pp upwards per bobble, depending on your requirements.
For your custom made Bailey Bobble please contact me stating Bailey Bobble in the subject header.
I look forward to making your beanie bobbles bigger!

As the end of 2012 approached, Jumping Jack Frost and I packed our bags with old school Jungle and headed to Geneva, Switzerland for a night called ‘Back to Jungle’. It was definitely a much younger audience than I expected to come out and hear our selection but they were definitely ready for what we had for them. Check out the video below of Frost smashing the party and feel free to peep pictures I got on the night in my picture gallery here
A little bonus footage here. Frost plays an exclusive D&B track featuring the UK Dancehall Legend Tippa Irie.
14 of Drum & Bass’ finest crammed into a small studio after enjoying drink and a crackin’ meal at Goldie’s. The result is the Metalheadz Xmas Podcast 2012 featuring Goldie, Bailey, D-Bridge, Jubei, SP:MC, DRS, Ulterior Motive, Heist, MC AD, Lowqui, Ant TC1, Storm and Flight. If you fancy a listen to the music and madness click here. There are a couple of photo galleries from the podcast for you to snoop at too. Mine is here and the other is here.
I also snatched a couple of behind the scenes video moments. Check them out below:
